What can I do for you as a composer???

FILM & TELEVISION
I have a lot of experience composing music for film and television. I have scored for the TV series Mutant X and worked on a number of student films. I am currently being considered for an upcoming motion picture project. Feel free to browse my samples section for examples of my work.

MUSIC FOR DANCE
I have composed extensively for dance. I am very familiar with modern techniques (Graham, Limon, Horten etc.) as well as ballet forms. I am very sensitve to the creative process and have gained notoriety from many professional choreographers and dancers. Feel free to listen to my samples.

CONCERT MUSIC
I Compose commisioned concert pieces for either solo, small or large ensembles. Feel free to listen to my samples.

ARRANGEMENTS
Do you have a favorite piece? I can arrange it for you.

TRANSCRIPTIONS
I can transcribe music from old scores into MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) format so they can be easily read, edited, transposed or archived.

TEACH
Teaching is one of my greatest passions in life. Pursuant to my goal of teaching at a post-graduate institution, I offered to teach theory and musicianship classes during my residency at CalArts. As a result of my sucess as a teacher I was hired as a member of faculty after I completed my degree.

ORCHESTRAL PLAYER
I have over 20 years of performacne experience and thousands of hours under the baton. I have played in several professional symphonies and was concert master of the New Century Players in an innaugural performance of Terry Riley's In C in the brand new Walt Disney Concert Hall in Downtown Los Angeles.

DANCE ACCOMPANIMENT
I specialze in modern and ballet accompaniment. I have been on staff with both York University and the California Institute of the Arts as an accompanist. I have also worked with professional companies including Horten and Limon companies. My work has also been featured on a accompaniment CD for the modern dance class. WEDDINGS
With extensive wedding experience and repetoire I can bring a special and unique touch to your special day. I offer consultations and allow you to choose precisely the music you want.

PRIVATE PARTIES
I can offer various styles of music to match your occasion. I specialize in classical repetoire, jazz and traditional folk fiddling (Celtic, Irish or Old-Time)

IMPROVISATIONS
Want something completely unique? I will compose on the spot! You get to see the music created in real time. Feel free to listen to my samples.

TEACH
I offer private violin lessons to students of all ages and levels. My diverse background is perfect for anyone wanting to study classical violin, jazz or traditional fiddling. I like to encourage proper technique whilst keeping the lessons fun and informative.
